Dog Friendly Birthday Cake

It’s your dogs birthday and it’s essential to celebrate! What’s a better way to spoil your pet than with some dog friendly birthday cake? These recipes are very mild and are suitable for most dogs. However, don’t forget that if your dog has a sensitive stomach or a special prescription diet, please consult your veterinarian before feeding them any cake.

Get the banners and confetti out; here are some amazing and healthy recipes to try at home today! Don’t be afraid to dress them up and sprinkle some dog treats or kibble on top too!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup of unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup shredded apple
  • 1 banana (mashed)

(You can usually tell when a cake is done by sticking a toothpick through the cake.) If it comes out with batter, it is not quite done baking yet! Finally, mix the frosting ingredients together, spread on the top of the cooled down cake, and you can even decorate it with apple slices.
