Valentine’s Day is a perfect time to show those close to you how much you love them. That could include making them dinner, taking them on a fancy trip or buying them the perfect gift.
You may have everything already planned for your human companions, but do you have the perfect treat for your furry friend? Lucky for you, we’ve got you covered with this no-bake treat recipe! Your pup will feel the love with ingredients that are good for them and delicious.
Mix together the yogurt and peanut butter
Cut up the banana into pieces small enough to fit in the molds
Spoon yogurt and peanut butter mixture into the molds only filling halfway
Add a small piece of banana to each of the molds
Finish filling the molds with the mixture
Freeze until solid
If you don't have molds, you can throw this mixture into any of your kitchen products that you can freeze. Make sure you make the right size for your pup, so it is safe for them to consume.
According to dog whisperer Cesar Milan, peanut butter is a great source of protein. It also contains healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin and vitamin E. Yogurt is also great for dogs as it is high in calcium, protein and active bacteria. However, be sure to choose one that doesn’t have any artificial sweeteners or added sugars.
